More than 150 stakeholders from science, industry and politics met on September 21, 2023 at the Bremen Conference AI in Health for an active exchange on artificial intelligence and health research. For this purpose, the U Bremen Research Alliance, in cooperation with JUST ADD AI, the Transfer Center for Artificial Intelligence BREMEN.AI and the Integrated Health Campus Bremen invited to the Bremen Überseestadt. The LSC DiPH was strongly represented with numerous contributions.

Yesterday in Berlin, the Leibniz Association decided to support the Leibniz Science Campus Digital Public Health for another four years with 1.2 million euros. This will enable the Campus, founded in 2019, to continue and expand its successful interdisciplinary research on the essential topic of the digitization of health.

The aim of the My-Voice research project was to talk to young women from Osterholz about the topic of 'movement and being active' via photos. The aim was to show factors that promote or prevent movement among young women and that they associate with activity. The results may provide clues to appropriate strategies for promoting physical activity. The photos are now on display at Weserpark.

More than half of Germans believe they sometimes to often find false news about the Corona pandemic in digital media. This is the conclusion reached by researchers from the Leibniz ScienceCampus Digital Public Health (LWC DiPH) in Bremen in their first report on digitalization and health.

Abstract: As a component of a comprehensive concept to contain the COVID-19 epidemic, a contact tracing app can make an important contribution. Of particular importance are technically secure functionality, voluntariness and anonymity of the users. A high acceptance of the app by citizens is a prerequisite for the success of the concept.
